Food Code Information

The Webster County Health Department is not required to providing Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) training. The mandatory certification training is provided by the following accredited programs:

Although each food establishment is required to have a Certified Food Protection Manager, the individual who has completed the Certified Food Protection Manager training can be the Certified Food Protection Manager for more than one location. Certified Food Protection Managers are not required to be on the premises of the food establishment at all times but must be available to be on site within an hour if required by the Regulatory Authority (Health Inspector).

Food Establishments have one (1) year from the effective date (July 1, 2019) of rule 2-102.12 of the FDA Food Code 2013 to identify a Certified Food Protection Manager for the establishment.
